Materials Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or materials cages to support the manufacture of electronic assemblies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of goods received.
• Mark stock items using correct identification information, and store items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated inventory locations according to the Macola system.
• Verify inventory by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors to accurately reflect parts available for use in our facility.
• Using correct documentation, pull kits for production, and support the manufacturing staff with necessary goods to produce electronic units with productivity and quality standards a top priority.
• Complete all necessary production reporting and documentation requirements.
• Maintain work area according to 5S Standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.

• Computer knowledge/experience using Microsoft Windows format to be able to adapt to other programs used for this position.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
